The Dutch and Finnish harpsichordist Jasper Koekoek performs actively both as a soloist and as a continuo player with chamber ensembles and orchestras, and has, in his solo repertoire, established himself as an advocate of Dutch and Nordic 17th-18th century repertoire. He holds a Master’s degree in Early Music and is now pursuing a doctorate at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki. Koekoek serves as artistic director of the Amore Barocco orchestra, and has worked as an accompanist at the Sibelius Academy for a year.
